Statements of Faith

We believe...

that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the Father; concieved of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary.
that Jesus was crucified, dead, and buried. He was raised and ascended to heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father as our intercessor.
in one God, existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit.
in the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
in repentance from dead works. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
in justification, and regeneration as wrought by grace through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
in justification, subsequent to the new birth through the Word and faith in the blood of Christ.
in baptism with the Holy Spirit, subsequent to a clean and holy heart.
in water baptism, by immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit for all who have repented.
in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.
in the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus.
that the term "marriage" has only one meaning and that is sanction by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.
that children are a blessing from the Lord. Thus all human life is sacred and worthy of protection from the moment of conception.
